The Christmas Snowflake is a charming, soothing book that would be ideal before bedtime. The illustrations are pretty and whimsical, full of magic. I really liked the fact that you can choose four different names in this book which feature several times, including a lovely scene where you can see the names on the stockings hanging over the fireplace. This makes it ideal for families with multiple children – although we used it for mummy, daddy and nana as well as William.
In addition to choosing the children’s names in the books on Wonderbly, you can also include a personalised message at the front of the book, which is included in the price, allowing you to say who the book is from and write a meaningful line. I like to put the date so we can remember and look back on it for years to come.
I was very impressed by the quality of the printing. A lovely hard back cover which will help keep the book in great condition, allowing it to be read many many times, and vibrant colours. It was really easy to use the website to personalise the books that I chose, and I really liked the fact you can preview every page. This means you can read the whole story yourself first and see if it’s the best choice for your child. Packaging on the books was great and delivery very quick.
