Favourite Frugi Autumn Winter Picks AW19

Frugi have been supplying amazing quality organic clothing since 2004 and quickly became one of my favourite children’s clothing retailers. Awesome designs, fair prices and putting the planet first? You really can’t ask for more than that. As William had predictably outgrown all of last years autumn clothing, I looked through the Frugi catalogue and picked out a few pieces for him for AW19. These were paid for at the prices stated by myself and this article was not sponsored in any way by Frugi, but I do use affiliate links should you choose to purchase anything.

Our favourite picks from the Autumn Winter 2019 range at Frugi, who make organic baby, toddler and kids clothing.

AW19 Snuggle Crawlers – two for £30

Snuggle Crawlers are cosy and warm for the nippier weather but durable and long lasting too, with extra padded knees for crawlers or walkers like mine who are constantly kneeling down to look at something. Made from organic cotton, there are four designs available at £20 each, but two are on special offer for two pairs for £30 which I think is a bit of a bargain. There are quite a few products in the two for £30 deal, including long sleeve tops, baby grows, parsnip pants and snuggle crawlers.

The two designs we went for were:

Snuggle Crawlers – Peekaboo Pandas

Lovely rich purple background with pandas eating bamboo and green waistband tie.

Snuggle Crawlers – Steely Blue Endangered Hero

Snuggle Crawlers

This busy dark blue design is filled with animals including pandas, gorillas, monkeys, jaguars, tigers, whooping cranes and various leaves. The colours are very much autumn style with golden yellow, light brown, deep red and green.

Libby Printed Legging

I have no problems putting a boy in leggings, so I consider these leggings unisex although they’re traditionally placed in the girls category. Leggings are stretchy and comfortable, ideal for hectic play. They’re not as thick as the snuggle crawlers but still warm, and I think offer more freedom of movement which is really important to me as my toddler is crazy active and always stretching his legs and climbing. For girls these can be layered under skirts or dresses really well.

There are five designs in the AW19 catalogue at £14-15 each and two of them are in the two for £20 deal which is an absolute steal. Other items included in the two for £20 selection are long sleeve tops (see below for the two I chose), leggings and long sleeved body vests.

I think the two designs in the two for £20 deal are perfectly suitable for girls or boys personally and I wish more shops would put leggings in the boys category or make unisex categories! What do you think, do you think these leggings are suitable for boys as well as girls?

Space Blue Rainbow Roads

Bright cars, trucks and bicycles are set among white fluffy clouds, on a dark navy background.

Aqua Endangered Heroes

Like the snuggle crawlers, these have the same design of endangered animals and autumn leaves, but set on a colourful aqua background.

My Favourite Long Sleeve Tops from Frugi AW19

I went for three long sleeve tops, sticking to the theme of animals this autumn. These are ideal to be worn over a short sleeved top or bodysuit for layering for the colder months. I chose three applique designs which really pop with colour and charm and were £21 each.

Adventure Applique Top – Space Blue / Tiger

Adventure Applique Top – Bumble Bee / Mammoth

Joe Applique Top – Fir Tree / Rhino

For an extra £5 you can have your child’s name personalised on the front of the above tops, but I didn’t choose this offer. It does mean they can’t be returned and makes them hard to sell second hand, but makes for a lovely gift for a special occasion.

I also went for two colourful long sleeve tee’s in the two for £20 deal in Rainbow Stripe and Blue Stripe. They were also available in green and red, great staples for the autumn winter wardrobe.

Special Offers – Free Tea Towel!

Because I was spending over £50 I qualified for the free tea towel offer that is currently running. This usually costs £10, but when you add £50 worth of clothing to your cart it’ll be added free of charge, no voucher code needed. Win! It’s a lovely quality and we’ve used it to learn some new animals as well.

All in total our Frugi AW19 haul cost £133 (down from £165 before promotions) including our free £10 tea towel and free delivery, which was for two pairs of snuggle crawlers, two pairs of leggings, and two long sleeve tees and three long sleeve applique tops. As always our order arrived very quickly and well packaged. I’m really happy with everything so have no need to utilize the free returns.

I did notice that Frugi still has a lot of the Spring Summer catalogue on sale, so if you’re looking for t-shirts for laying, shorts, skirts, dungarees or more – perhaps to size up for next year, or if you’re going on holiday this winter, then there are some half price bargains still to be had!

Want some happy Frugi action shots? Of course you do!
