Father’s Day Gift Guide 2023

Father’s Day 2023 falls on Sunday June 18th. Father’s Day was always tricky for me growing up, as I was raised by a single mum and struggled to understand why my father treated us the way he did. It makes me feel extra grateful that my husband is such an amazing and present father, and makes me want to spoil him silly on Father’s Day, as well as find the perfect gift for him. Whether you’re buying a gift for your own father, for a male role model in your life such as your grandfather, an uncle or even a family friend, or whether you want to celebrate the father of your children, I think I’ll have something for you in this Father’s Day Gift Guide 2023.

As always I’ve curated some new and exciting gifts that you can get delivered direct to your – or your gift recipient’s – door. I’ve also got an absolutely amazing competition for you this year, a pair of Beats Fit Pro Wireless Earbuds worth £170. The perfect gift for dad, or a cheeky treat for yourself. Scroll all the way down to the bottom to enter. UK only.

Please note some of these items were sent to me to consider for inclusion. Others I have purchased myself. Some links may be affiliate links to Amazon. I was not paid for any product placement or given any other incentive to include these products.

Cherished Memories

I love personalised gifts, and photo gifts have to be my favourite of all. They let you celebrate cherished memories every day. Max Spielmann offer a range of photo services from prints and canvas, to gifts such as mugs, keyrings and these wooden photo blocks you can see above. You can even have them printed in store at places like your local Tesco, or get home delivery. I’ll definitely be using them for photo gifts in the future.

I’ve used VistaPrint about 5 times now and each time I’ve been very impressed with the quality of the products I’ve received. I’ve created photo gifts that have included posters, canvas prints, t-shirts, tote bags and mugs. You can put your memories on a wide range of photo gift products and it will be delivered safely and quickly.

A Fashionable Gift

Check out Very for some stylish and affordable Hugo Boss Menswear. I’m a big fan of Boss menswear because they have some good sustainability practices, as well as being excellent quality menswear, with items from socks and underwear, to casual t-shirts and hoodies, to smart shirts. I highly recommend their t-shirts and this is a good time of year to update the wardrobe as we move into the warmer weather.

If you’re looking to give a smart and impressive wardrobe gift then consider Nautica, who offer high quality Mens, Womens and Kids clothing. I particularly love the Tidwell Long Sleeve Shirt – the perfect smart casual pair with black jeans or chinos. I also love some of their bright coloured designs, like their Rugby shirts, but whatever your dad or partner is into, I’m sure that you’ll find something from Nautica.

This amazing short sleeve shirt is from the Sarus Crane collection at Sherpa Adventure Gear. It’s so lightweight and feels so comfortable, with such a subtle natural design. What’s even better is the different you know you’re making when you buy from this collection. Sherpa provide clothing with a purpose and recently hit an impressive target of providing 1 million school days for the children of Nepal. Together with Room To Read’s Nepal Education Programme, their goal is now to provide 10 million school days by 2030. That’s definitely something I want to support.

Check out what’s new in at Double Two, like this casual pale blue Oxford shirt. Double Two offer a wide range of shirts, knitwear, trousers, accessories and more. At the moment their shirts are Mix & Match 2 to save £10, and 4 to save £25, as well as free delivery on all orders over £50. I’m very impressed with both the quality of their shirts, and the massive selection to choose from. You’re bound to find a gift suitable for dad at Double Two.

My husband got his first pair of Crossfly boxer shorts for Valentine’s Day and ever since then he’s been singing their praises to everyone! He assures me that Crossfly are the best boxer shorts he’s ever worn, with their unique Cocoon system that keeps all his most important things – ahem – gentle, comfortable and secure. They’ve got a unique X-fly that offers quick and easy access, and come in a variety of colours, styles and sizes for you to find the perfect fit for him.

For accessories, why not consider a stylish watch, such as this Ted Baker London watch from Acotis Jewellery. Acotis Jewellery have a wide range of Men’s watches, as well as other men’s accessories and jewellery to choose from. I also want to mention their men’s engraving service, which would make a beautiful personalised gift and is available on men’s pendants, rings, bracelets and other products such as key chains. Plenty of options for any stylish dad out there.

I love this alligator design wallet. It’s a bit larger than most, with an outer zip, then an inner zip for coins, as well as space for cards and notes. This oversized design looks really unique and would be ideal for the dad who carries around coins or things a bit larger than the average wallet. That’s just my top pick though, Trendhim offer a wide range of men’s wallets (and RFID cards to help keep your cards safe).

Food Glorious Food

If dad is a fan of cooking, grilling or BBQing then Welsh Sauce Kitchen’s Black Garlic Ketchup will be the perfect condiment. I love it when I get the opportunity to talk about local Welsh brands, and to encourage you guys to support small independent businesses. Welsh Sauce Kitchen do small batch unique flavours like this Black Garlic Ketchup, which sells out every time, as well as other sauces such as Italian Ketchup, Korean Ketchup and Tangy Brown Sauce. Subscribe to their email list to be notified about new batches so you don’t miss out.

If dad is a fan of flavoursome food then no doubt he will enjoy the Round The World Chilli Tour gift set. This gift offers an array of chilli ingredients, with pastes, sauces and spices from all around the world, whether it’s from Mexico, to Spain, Portugal and on to South East Asia, Korea and China. It comes in a gift bag and any chef will appreciate it as a gift. My husband’s favourite is Cholula, which can be added to a wide variety of meals, whilst the dried chillis will be used to make chilli jam!

Talking of food from around the world, I think any dad I know would be happy with the Ultimate Sushi Kit from Kelly Loves. Kelly Loves is a a Japanese snacks and drinks brand that sells authentic, delicious sushi and products such as ramune drinkssoy sauce and kimchi. The Sushi Kit is my recommendation and is great even if your dad has never made sushi at home before as it comes with everything you need to get started except for your fresh ingredients. It comes with a rolling mat, and then you’ll make your rice with the sushi rice and rice vinegar provided. Roll it up in the seaweed nori and fill with your choice of fresh meat, fish or veggies. The fun thing about making sushi at home is you can really experiment with fillings you like. The set also comes with lots of flavours and toppings, like spicy mayo, fried onions, sushi ginger and wasabi sauce. On top of that it includes a wonderful Bento Box which is ideal for packed lunches or storing your sushi – if dad can manage to save some for later!

Some retro classic sweets will cheer anyone up! Swizzels offer gift boxes containing some of the UK’s most loved sweets such as Love Hearts, Refreshers, Parma Violets, Drumsticks, Lollies and more, gift hampers, and even personalised sweets, so you’re bound to be able to find something that suits the dad with a sweet tooth. Swizzels are also offering a giant chocolate coin featuring a ‘For You’ message – ideal for any gifting occasion.

Lottie Shaw’s is a family craft bakery who use their heritage family recipes to create delicious baked treats. They use local producers, maintain zero food waste, support local charities, and have designed their own recyclable packaging, so tick all the boxes for an excellent company to support. They’re offering a wide range of amazing looking Father’s Day Hampers. My husband and I taste tested the Chocoholics Treat Box, which comes with Ginger Parking and Triple Chocolate biscuits, Chocolate Truffle Fudge, Millionaire’s flapjack and Millionaire’s shortbread (my personal favourite!). For under £27 it felt really superb value given the quality of the food, and also the great packaging. If you sign up to the newsletter you can also get an additional 10% off!

PLAYin CHOC is the perfect little treat for the dad who is looking for high quality dairy free chocolate, suitable for vegans! It’s gluten and nut free too, as well as being plastic free. The chocolates come packaged in segments of two and are ideal for a tasty little treat.

Drinks for Dad

I’ve long been a fan of Two Chimps coffee, and I’m very pleased they’re offering a special edition Father’s Day Coffee for 2023. It’s DaddyWaddyDooDah, with a light and fruity tropical lime and peach flavour, from Karnataka, India. This specialty coffee will be a fantastic start to Father’s Day for any dad out there.

For something a bit different, Manchester Drinks Co offer gin liqueur in unique flavours such as Mystical Unicorn (candy floss and marshmallow!), Parma Violet and Rhubarb and Ginger. Parma Violet would be especially appropriate if you’re gifting a Swizzels sweet hamper, as it complements the classic sweets perfectly. You can buy them at Home Bargains and Quality Save.

A drink for the dad who isn’t into alcohol is Clean W – a clean boubon whiskey flavour, without any alcohol content at all. This means you can make delicious drinks and cocktails even if you don’t want any alcohol that night, and also feel included in any situation. It’s made by CleanCo who offer a selection of premium non-alcoholic spirits, aimed to taste exactly like the real thing. I really enjoyed the suggestions for making mocktails with their various spirits.

My husband is a big fan of Spiced Rum. Étän Rum is an award-winning brand that I hadn’t heard of before, but was keen for us to sample. It’s a rum that’s been distilled with five spices found in and around West Africa. The story behand the brand is really inspiring, created by five sisters and the name Étän means five in their parents’ African dialect. The flavour is really smooth, very easy to drink without a mixer – or complimentary to any rum based cocktail you enjoy. It’s a little bit spicy, but not overwhelming, with just a pinch of sweetness. The blend really works and I will definitely be buying another bottle! It has a beautiful box and bottle that makes the perfect presentation for a gift. You can buy it online here.

Another option for rum lovers is this wonderful Spiced Rum and Chocolate Hamper from Hampers.com – it’s gift boxed ready to hand over to dad, which is very convenient, and comes with a delicious bar of dark chocolate, boozy fudge trio and bottles of Franklin & Sons 1886 Cola and Original Ginger Ale for potential mixers. If this doesn’t quite feel like your dad, hampers.com has a full range of Father’s Day Hampers with options from tasty treats, cheese and nuts to craft beer, wine or spirits. There’s something for everyone.

Whisky Kingdom have a lot of incredible gift packs available, from exclusive rum and gin, to brandy miniatures. One of my husband’s favourite drinks is an Espresso Martini – or any coffee based alcohol really! This gift set from Mr. Black contains a bottle of their excellent Coffee Liqueur, which can be used for an espresso martini in the limited edition martini glass provided, or for a variety of other coffee cocktails, or even for an iced coffee that packs an extra punch.

Comfort and Self Care

With temperatures starting to rise, dad might be overheating at night. I know my husband is starting to complain about the temperatures, but even if you have a portable air conditioning unit, with electricity prices the way they are, it’s simply not economical to run it. I’d love to introduce you to this Avoalre Bamboo Cooling Blanket. When I first tested it out I was super skeptical – a blanket, that cools? But seriously, it’s absolutely amazing how much cooler this makes you, whilst equally also making you feel comfortable and covered. It really works! My husband loves it and I think the man in your life will too.

I’ve got a special discount code for you if you purchase from the above link as well, I5VTOZUH will get you 10% off until 31st December 2025.

Give dad the gift of quality self-care with Fort Menscare’s Father’s Day Gift Box. This gift box is on special offer just for Father’s Day with a significant saving. This gift box includes activated charcoal cleanser, exfoliating face scrub, anti fatigue moisturizer, anti fatigue gel serum, a silicone exfoliator and a microfiber face cloth. It’s basically everything dad needs to start a good skincare routine. The packaging feels really luxurious and is perfect as a gift and I’m pleased that all of Fort Menscare’s formulas are manufactured in the UK (in Yorkshire).

Hobbies and Having Fun

A scooter is so much fun. I’ve mentioned them a few times before on my blog, but I honestly think that Scooter’s adults can use are the most fun way of getting around. Whether it’s a push scooter that you’re riding around the park with the kids, or perhaps even an electric scooter like the that you’re using to get that extra burst of speed, I recommend them! My personal recommendation for dad this Father’s Day is the JD Bug Fun Electric E-Scooter – it’s ideal for ages 14+ and can be ridden by adults up to the weight limit of 100kg. It folds and isn’t too heavy to be stored indoors and used for commuting or for fun. I’ve had a wide range of active outdoor products from skates.co.uk over the last few years and have always been extremely impressed with their quality, delivery and customer service.

Look at this amazing Von Haus Toolset. It’s a 94 piece set with an electric screwdriver included, not to mention pretty much everything that dad could possibly need for any household DIY.

For the dad who enjoys reading, The Folio Society offers amazing editions of popular books. These illustrated, hardbound, sleeved editions often come with special extras that would please any gift recipient. Pictured above is Jurassic Park, but I’ve got some other suggestions for dad too. In particular I want to mention the Folio edition of A Game of Thrones, as it’s introduced by my absolute favourite author, Joe Abercrombie and comes with a new colour map too. All of their books are so beautiful, you won’t have a problem picking one for any dad who loves to read.

There’s something deeply satisfying and fun about using a pressure washer. It has to be the only cleaning tool that feels so good to use! Whether it’s paving, decking, windows or the car, a power washer is going to get things incredibly clean. For Father’s Day this year I’m recommending the VonHaus 1600w Pressure Washer. It’s compact so easy to store, but still packs loads of cleaning power to tackle any dirty job. All dad needs to use it is a connection to a hose and a power point – but there’s a 5m cable and hose provided so you should be able to reach most areas of the drive and garden without needing an extension.

BoutiqueGifts offers a wide range of gifts for any occasion. My pick for dad this Father’s Day would be this Parker Jotter Ballpoint Pen & Pencil Gift Set. With over 60 years of history in the UK, Parker are a well known brand and this set comes in a lovely gift tin. It can also be laser engraved, making a wonderful personalised gift.

Finally, gifting Beats Headphones allows dad to enjoy good quality audio, whether that’s listening to music, taking phone calls or chilling out with an audiobook or podcast. Very.co.uk stock a full range of Beats products at great prices. I’ve gone for the Fit Pro Wireless Earbuds to allow my husband to listen comfortably whether he’s in bed or at the gym. Although Beats are made by Apple and have the Apple H1 chip powering them, they work with any phone or device that supports Bluetooth. There’s also a Beats App for Android that gives all the features you get on Apple, so they’re perfect for any device. I’ve got a pair worth £170 to give away to one of my UK readers to celebrate Father’s Day, just scroll down!
