Father’s Day 2024

A Charitable Gift

To start off this gift guide I want to talk for a moment about World Vision. World Vision support the world’s most vulnerable children whilst also showing your loved one that you care about them. It allows you to purchase a charitable gift on behalf of your dad (or any other gift recipient). He will feel really happy that a difference has been made in his name and also solves the problem of any hard to buy for dads who already seem to have everything! Some gifts include things like feeding a child for a month for £11, buying a goat for a family for £23, letting vulnerable children play football for £9 or buying books for an after school reading club for £18. These are just a small example of a wide range of ways you can make a difference, and you can find something that your dad is passionate about and will love seeing.

You could pair a charitable gift with one of the amazing gifts below from brands I’ve personally used and recommend.

A Fashionable Fit

New Slippers from Moshulu

A pair of high quality slippers from Moshulu will improve dad’s comfort at home. These men’s sheepskin moccasin slippers are amazing quality, so warm and comfortable, but if you don’t think this specific pair will appeal to dad, you can guarantee Moshulu have something else that’s suitable. Moshulu is an independent footwear company from Devon and I can vouch for their incredible quality. They also support charitable works and in 2023 raised over £20,000 for Hospiscare and over £10,000 for the National Trust. You’ll notice that a lot of the brands I recommend are making a real difference in the world, which is very important to me when making purchases.

An affordable Birkenstock alternative with Sandals from

A pair of sandals from ShoeZone will be a fantastic addition to his summer wardrobe. I’ve featured the Elmer Men’s Brown Mule Sandal, but ShoeZone have a massive array of footwear to suit any dad.

House of Bruar

Check out the Father’s Day Collection from the House of Bruar to see a selection of high quality gifts that would be perfect for dad this June. For example, this pure lambswool jumper, lightweight but warm for those nippy spring evenings. House of Bruar offer luxury brands and country gifts from clothes of all kinds to accessories and food and drink gifts as well, so you’re bound to find something classic for dad here.

Sherpa Shirt

Sherpa Adventure Gear have a range of t-shirts and casual shirts for dad, like this amazing Tiger Leaf Shirt. I love the unique design and the vibrancy of the colours and also the rich Nepalese heritage behind the brand. Sherpa provides a day of school for a Nepalese child for every single item they sell and have a mission to supply 10 million school days buy 2030. I love knowing that I’m making a difference with my purchases.

Foster dads’ love of food

Electric Teppanyaki Grill from VonShef

A brand that I’ve found consistently reliable, efficient and great value, VonShef’s Electric Teppanyaki Grill is bound to be a hit with any dad who likes grilling or cooking. This can be used indoors or outdoors, so ideal for all round use, and lets you grill your meet and veggies to perfection. With adjustable temperature control this allows you to make sure the food is cooked exactly to your specification, this is ideal for a family who might enjoy steak at different rarities for example. It lets the family really enjoy a meal together and makes cooking a lot more fun! You can even use it for breakfast or lunch, cooking eggs or pancakes on it for example, and it’s really easy to clean afterwards.

30 Piece BBQ Tool Set

To go with the teppanyaki grill or for a dad who loves outdoor cooking such as grilling or barbecuing, consider this 30 Piece BBQ Tool Set. It comes in a really sturdy nylon case so can be transported anywhere and has all the tools you might need, including forks, tongs, spatula, skewers, brushes, sweetcorn / vegetable holders and even a little salt and pepper shaker.

A delicious gift from Hampers.com

Hampers.com offer a wide selection of hampers including all sorts of food and drinks gifts, from spirits, beer and cider, to cheese, meat, snacks and chocolate. They have an extensive Father’s Day Collection with some ideas. My pick is the Kraken Spiced Rum and Chocolate Gift Set, which comes beautiful presented and ready to gift to a lucky dad!

Delicious and healthy snacks from Love Corn

These snakes from Love Corn are both healthy and delicious, ideal for any dad to enjoy with a pint, whilst watching a movie or just as a snack during the day. There are loads of flavours – my favourite is sour cream & chive, but there’s also cheese & onion, bbq, sea salt, salt and vinegar, habanero chilli and even a milk chocolate variety.

A treat from Sweet Hamper Company

The Sweet Hamper Company have a wide range of Father’s Day Sweets and chocolate gifts, perfect for giving dad a sweet treat. I’m suggesting this Retro sweet box which includes a huge range of tasty retro sweets as you see above, complete with gift box and card. It’s a bit of fun nostalgia for dad as he relives some of the sweets from his past.

The best Father’s Day Cupcakes from Lola’s Cupcakes

Lola’s Cupcakes offer cakes and cupcakes decorated beautifully. These are extremely well packaged and get to you in perfect condition and I can attest to them being absolutely delicious! They are moist and tasty, with a very generous frosting. They also offer gluten free and vegan cupcakes, which is incredibly inclusive. These cupcakes will bring a smile to anyone’s face.

Make him a charcuterie with sides from the Artisan Olive Oil Company.

You can make dad a delicious cheeseboard with a variety of local cheeses and meats. Try to find his favourite things and support local suppliers. For example one of my favourites is the Snowdonia Cheese Company. I recommend shopping at local farm shops and seeing what tasty bits you can find, and then pairing it with this Moulins Mahjoub Organic Harrissa gift set.

Encourage dad to enjoy a tipple

A botanical twist from Hensol Castle Distillery

The newest addition to the Hensol Castle Distillery range (a local Welsh supplier!) is the Hensol Castle Black Gin. This is inspired by a love of Bramble, and is made with black muscat grapes, picked from the garden at Hensol Castle, then finished with black cherry and blackberries. It’s a fantastic twist and has a wonderful fruity taste. We’ve been super impressed with all the Gin from Hensol Castle Distillery I’ve tasted, but this might be our favourite yet.

A boozy gift set from The Whisky World

I’m featuring this unique Disaronno Velvet gift set from The Whisky World. The Whisky World offer scotch, world whisky, spirits and old & rare vintages and have a wide range of alcoholic gifts that are bound to suit dad. If dad is a fan of liqueurs like my husband is, you’ll find quite a lot of different options at The Whisky World as well. My second recommendation would be for Walders Scotch & Coffee Creamy Liqueur – if your dad or partner likes coffee and scotch this one slips down like a dream, and is perfect in an after dinner coffee too!

The gift of spirits from Whisky Kingdom

Whisky Kingdom connects you with some of the world’s finest distilleries to offer a massive range of whiskies to suit every taste, including rare bottles for that special gift. In addition to specialising in whisky, they offer a wide range of other spirit gifts, including rare and collectible gifts like this excellent Diplomatico Mantuano with Reserva Exclusive Mini Pack.

Other gifts dad will love

A comfortable night’s sleep with Simba

You might have seen our review of the Simba Sleep Hybrid Mattress, well now I also want to add an endorsement for the Simba Sleep Hybrid Duvet! This is a luxurious 10.5 tog duvet which is suitable for all year round use. It has a proprietary fill which offers softness and warmth, but also good airflow to avoid overheating. It has Simba’s Statos ‘cool-touch’ tech as well. We’ve been using this for a few weeks and it really is amazing. Did you know Simba Sleep also do pillows too? I hope to add some to my excellent sleep routine soon!

A Reflex Active Tag so he never loses his belongings again!

The Reflex Active ActiveTag is a small tag that you can attach to your essentials, allowing you to quickly locate them when lost. This is ideal for any dad who has wandered around the house saying where are my keys / wallet / phone / bag! It works with Apple Find My device to show you exactly where your lost item is.

A personalised Photo gift from Max Spiellman

Max Spiellman have a massive range of photo gifts suitable for any occasion, most with same day click and collect or next day delivery. From personalised mugs and photos, cushions, clothes and frames, There’s something for everyone. I’ve featured above the set of fridge magnets, which are an incredible price of only £4.50 for 10, but I’ve also had many other photo gifts from Max Spiellman, from large print photos to canvas prints, to engraved glassware and I’ve been very happy with the quality throughout.
