Affiliate Links
I also use affiliate links in some situations and this will create a cookie which tells the third party site that I link to that you came from Welsh Mum of One. This enables them to track where you came from and link that to your purchases, earning me a small amount of money.
Email Addresses and IP Addresses
Your email address is used as a unique identifier when posting comments. Leaving a comment also saves your IP address. This allows me to identify and block spam or fake comments and approve genuine commenters such as yourself. These emails will never be used to contact you and your data will never be passed to a third party. If you do not wish to provide this information you will be unable to leave comments.
If you sign up for my mailing list using any of my mailing list forms or ticking the box when commenting, you are agreeing to receive regular email updates directly from me. This data will never be passed to a third party and every email includes an unsubscribe link to remove yourself from this list.
Competitions
By entering a competition you are providing your email address as a point of contact. Unless you additionally select to sign up to my mailing list, this email address will only be used to contact you if you are a winner. Every competition includes it’s own terms and conditions to read before entering.
