Christmas is my favourite time of the year. To me, Christmas has always been synonymous with two things – quality time spent with my family, and food! Now that my son is almost three years old, he’s starting to understand and get excited about Christmas, which really ups it to a whole new fun level. I’ve even started Christmas shopping already (I know, it’s so early!) and booked a Santa’s Grotto, so bring on December!
Good food is also something to be celebrated at Christmastime, from home cooked meals, to indulgent treats and delicious drinks. This year I’ve got together with a bunch of other UK bloggers to fund a Christmas Competition that I’d love to win myself, so I’m really jealous of you lot!
Five lucky winners will win a Virginia Hayward The Magic of Christmas Hampers which looks absolutely scrumptious. It contains a little bit of all my favourites, including savouries like Cornish sea selt and Luxury Black pepper crisps, mature cheddar mini bites, and Christmas nuts. It has sweet treats salted caramel chocolate cake, Brancy butter popcorn, chocolate marshmallows and traditional offerings of Christmas pudding and mince pies, all washed down with a bottle of prosecco!
