8 of the Best Hand-Made Christmas Decorations 2019

Every year I write a gift guide that focuses on some of the best local, hand-crafted Christmas products. This year I want to share some of the amazing personal, unique, hand-made Christmas decorations that you can purchase, all made by crafters here in the UK. Supporting small crafters is incredibly important. Buying from small businesses and local producers is great for the environment as well as supporting art, creativity and skills that might be otherwise lost. Crafting opens up job opportunities to people who might not otherwise be able to earn and support themselves and their families. As I, and most of my readers, are parents, this is incredibly important as you probably all know how hard it is to find affordable childcare and a job that allows you to work around school hours. As I have a two year old, being self employed is the only way I can make a living.

Without further ado, check out these awesome ways to decorate your home and your Christmas tree this year as well as a unique and memorable gift for absolutely anyone! This is a gift that will be brought out year after year and is particularly good for special occasions such as newly married couples, new children or family milestones.
