Rodents

If the thought of rats doesn’t faze you however then you should definitely consider getting one as a pet. They are highly intelligent creatures and enjoy human companionship.
It is important to note that smaller animals don’t always appreciate being handled and if they feel threatened they may bite. Therefore, if your children are quite young or don’t have the patience to properly care for these animals, it may not be the best choice.
